The Smale family has been involved in the agricultural field for 4 generations. By the 3rd generation the family branched into agricultural manufacturing, creating a line of livestock handling equipment that has been recognized as a leader in their field. The innovative technology that was used on the farm was applied successfully in the manufacturing of the first Self-propelled forage wagon in 1962. Today, our 4th generation is carrying on the tradition of quality, innovativeness and reliability. Our powder coating system *was one of the first in Canada and we now have over 35 years experience in this state of the art for coatings. Over the years the company has diversified into several areas and is known not only for livestock equipment and *powder coating but also for its durable high strength hockey net, its innovative tree/rock kart for the landscape industry, and the reintroduction of *hydrogen peroxide back into the ag market.
We are excited now to be entering a new area of innovative technology. Empress Trees for Canada is poised on the edge of a new era of environmentally profitable green technology. We anticipate great success with this new project and look forward to carrying on our tradition of quality, innovativeness and reliability.
